Our Penguins of Madagascar Family Movie Night! #PenguinsChillOut #PenguinsInsiders #PenguinsMovie

**This is a sponsored post.  I received the product(s) mentioned in exchange for this post.  All opinions are 100% my own.

Last weekend we got to have a Penguins of Madagascar Family Movie Night!  My daughter had one of her friends over and we had a great time with activities and delicious ice cream and the kids were thrilled to see the all new movie: Penguins of Madagascar!  We received an awesome movie night kit that contained a fun ice cream maker, ice cream bowls, activity sheets, and some adorable plush penguin characters from this adorable movie!

First we all had a great time doing some activity sheets from the film.  Please feel free to print these activity sheets to do with your own family!  The kids loved the coloring sheets and the spy kit most of all!

After we did all of our activity sheets, the kids were excited to see the movie!  They each got to choose a plush toy to keep for their very own and were thrilled to watch to movie with their penguin characters!

During the movie they made their very own ice cream with the super cool ice cream maker that came in our movie night kit.  We simply added the ingredients and the kids were able to shake the ice cream maker while they were watching the movie.  They had a great time making their own ice cream!  When it was ready I gave each child some ice cream and they happily ate it!

These kiddos absolutely love our weekly family movie night!  They get to stay up late and eat junk food and get to spend some much needed family time with us.  We love it too!  This movie was especially cute!  I have loved seeing these smart and crazy Penguins in all of the Madagascar movies so was thrilled to see that they now have their own movie!  The kids all love Skipper, Private, Rico and Kowalski!  They even loved the new characters from the North Wind team that we met in this movie!

Make Family Movie Night a tradition in your home and bring home Penguins of Madagascar today!  (You also may want to get your kids some "Cheezy Dibbles"  Mine have asked for them repeatedly since seeing this movie!  Oh and by the way, they have asked to watch this movie at least 10 times since our movie night!  It's a hit!!!

Earlier this week How to Train Your Dragon 2 was released to Blu-ray and DVD.  My kids sure are excited because they saw this movie in the theater and they loved it so much and couldn't wait to see it again!  We have a super fun Family Movie Night planned this Friday.  The Fox Home Entertainment Insiders have sent us a copy of the movie How to Train Your Dragon 2 and some great activities and snacks to enjoy while watching the movie!

You can have your own #DragonsMovieNight too!  We are excited to make some fun dragon snacks and the kids will love the activities I have planned too!  Enjoy the following printable activity pages from How to Train Your Dragon 2.  I will be posting my review of the movie as well as all of the pictures from our Movie Night early next week!

Mr. Peabody & Sherman Time Period Party!!

**This is a sponsored post.  I received a gift card to facilitate this review.  However all opinions are 100% my own!

My kids were THRILLED to receive the movie Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Blu-ray Combo Pack.  They were super bummed that we weren't able to see it in the theater so were VERY excited to see this movie.  Honestly as soon as the movie ended my 10 year old came and asked if she could watch it again.  That's how much she liked it!  I must also add that while this movie was on I didn't hear from all three of my children.  I even came in to check on my youngest because usually silence means bad things.  All of you moms know what I'm talking about!!!  She was actually watching the movie with her big brother and sister.  I call that a win!!!

Now aside from that winning review, the Fox Home Entertainment Insiders gave me a super fun task...  to have a Time Period Party with my kids!  We were given the Athens Greece time period and a couple of crafts to construct and my kids had a great time!  We got to make a toga and an armor mask and helmet.  The kids really had a fun time!

The above picture is of my girls showing off our crafts.  Bella is sporting an adorable toga made from a white sheet and pillow case along with some pretty ribbons that she picked out from Michael's - the craft store.  The toga was super easy to make.  You can use any fabric that you have on hand an wrap it around your child - securing it with safety pins.  The strap was made from a white pillow case that we wrapped with ribbon and safety pinned onto the toga.  Bella thought she was pretty stylish in this ensemble!  It was super fun to create this toga!

Ava is holding up the mask inspired by the Trojan War.  The kids made it from construction paper and a popsicle stick.  It is super cute and the kids loved wearing them!

The kids had a wonderful time making the crafts and then LOVED watching the movie - Mr. Peabody & Sherman.  This movie was super cute!  I have to share the pictures below.  My kids were given some cute glasses and bow ties just like the movie and they had a great time dressing up.  I love that the kids had a great time with this movie.  It has been fun traveling "WAY Back" to Athens Greece!  If you haven't seen this adorable movie, I highly recommend it... as do Bella, Sam & Ava!
