My little guy really enjoys to play video games.  I try to limit him to an hour a day, because otherwise, he'd never do anything else!  He was super thrilled to get to try a great game from Ubisoft entitled: Rayman Origins!  This game sure does keep him busy!  It has more than 60 levels and 6 amazing worlds of gameplay.  This is a game that will take him a while to conquer everything and keeps his attention.  (I've gotten him games that he can beat quickly and gets bored with)  This is definitely not one of those games!  It is difficult enough but not so difficult that he is frustrated!  Rayman Origins is great for all ages.  The game contains over 100 characters, so Sam is always thrilled to find a new one!

Rayman gains unique abilities as he progresses through the adventure, including swimming, diving, slapping and the sensational "HairlyCopter."  After unlocking these special abilities, you can return to previous levels and discover new paths and secrets.  In the Street Pass mode, Sam can share his progression, number of collectibles, time played, unlocked achievements, and avatar with others.  He thinks it's really great to share his game achievements on the score boards.  This is a super fun game and Sam and I would definitely recommend it to gamers of all ages!  My husband loves to play this game too and Sam always has to remind daddy that it's his DS!!!

I have one word for The Hip Hop Dance Experience: FUN!  We received this awesome game to review for the Wii and the kids and I have had so much fun dancing along with these great hip hop songs!  I love learning all of these fun dance moves and working up a sweat is a great bonus!  After the birth of baby number three, I have lots of pounds to shed, so anything that gets me up to move around is a huge plus!  Exercise used to be a chore for me, but not anymore with this fun game for the Wii!

My family and I LOVE the Just Dance games!  We were super excited when Ubisoft came out with Just Dance Disney Party!  Now with the holidays almost over, we will have a lot more free time and all of us could use more activity after all of those yummy holiday dishes that we over indulged in!  We love to work out with the Wii - especially in the winter months when we are couped up indoors.  I was especially excited to receive this game because of the daycare kids.  I can't take them outside very much since we can't take the babies out in this cold weather.  The other workout games that I have are more geared toward adults, but kids can really get into this game since it features all of their favorite Disney songs!

Poptropica Adventures for the Nintendo DS Review #UbiPoptropica

My kids are super excited about a new video game that they received for the Nintendo DS!  It's called Poptropica Adventures and not that I've gotten the chance to play it - they honestly haven't stopped - I'm really excited to tell you all about it!

In Poptropica Adventures, the museum is in ruins and you must explore each of the three islands to find artifacts to bring back to the museum to restore it to it's former glory.  Your kids can create their own avatar and customize it with hairstyles, clothing and accessories - one of Bella's favorite parts of the game!  There are tons of mini games to unlock and play!  These are both fun and challenging for my kids!  Not too challenging that they are frustrated with the game, but challenging enough to hold their attention to play for longer!

The only issue I have with this game is that we don't have two!  The kids love it so much that sharing is an issue.  They think the islands are so fun and love completing the quests assigned to them.  They get to collect fun gadgets and other items to return to the museum.  Sam is so cute when he's on a quest!  He gets really into the game and gets super excited when he collects a new item!  This is a really great game for the whole family!  This game would make a wonderful holiday gift for your kiddos and will keep them busy over Christmas break too!  My kids give it two thumbs up, and hopefully someday, they'll hand it over to mom to try!

My kids love their video games!  We are constantly telling them to share and not fight over who's turn it is to play whatever game it is they are arguing over.  I'm always on the lookout for fun and challenging games for them, that will keep their attention.  We received Rabbids Rumble for the Nintendo 3DS to review from Ubisoft, and my kids are officially addicted!  I first let Sam try this game out, thinking that it was more up a boy's alley, but Bella watched him play for a bit and decided that she'd like a turn as well.  They both love this super fun game and I'm excited to tell you all about it!

Rabbids are not your cute little run of the mill bunnies.  They are wild and crazy creatures that have escaped from the game cartridge and have made their way all over your 3DS and into the real world!  The object is to capture as many of the Rabbids as you can throughout 7 challenging levels.  My kids have been playing this game for a while and have only made it to level 3.  You can capture over 100 Rabbids and each have their own combat abilities.  You can play mini-games where the deranged Rabbids escape from your floor or even fight on your kitchen table.  With Spot Pass you can add new Rabbids to your collection each week by downloading these rare Rabbids to your Nintendo 3DS.  With the Street Pass feature you can gain training bonuses, share your scores and even unlock new Rabbids and other items from other players that you encounter.

My kids think Rabbids Rumble is a really fun game and we'd love to recommend it to kids and adults alike.  It's really challenging so will keep my kids busy for a while.  It would make an excellent holiday gift as well!

In Imagine Fashion Life, you can play as three different careers: a fashion model, a fashion designer or a mall owner.  As a fashion model, you can walk the runways and pose for glamorous photo shoots.  Bella especially likes this mode!  She likes to imagine being a fashion model strutting her stuff on the catwalk!  As a fashion designer you get to organize fashion shows and create original outfits and even your own brand!  Bella loves trying our new ideas and frequently shows her father and me her one of a kind creations.  She's always really proud of her designs.  You can start with all of the latest trends from 2011 and 2012.  The mall owner is my favorite mode to play in!  You can arrange the stores how you like, manage your budget and pick all of the latest fashions and cosmetics to sell in your stores!  This game is so realistic with the 3D effects.  We would both really recommend this game!  It would make an awesome gift this holiday!

Just Dance 4 Review #CleverJD4

After we bought our Wii, the first game I wanted was Just Dance!  I love this game and love breaking out in a sweat to great music with my kids!  It's like getting a workout while having good quality family time!   Since the first Just Dance game came out, we have bought all of the others as they came out!  It's super fun to try out new songs and to learn some new dance moves.  With tomorrow being Thanksgiving, we are going to bring Just Dance 4 with us to our my in-laws house for the whole family to try!  After we are all done stuffing ourselves with turkey and stuffing, our family likes to play games together.  This year we can work off some calories while having a blast with Just Dance 4!  My kids and I have been playing it for a couple of weeks now and I'm excited to tell you all about this great game!

This game has over 40 great songs to dance along to!  Some of our favorites are "What Make You Beautiful" by One Direction, "Wild Wild West" by Will Smith and "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley.  I love how this edition contains some great hits of today along with some great classics.  The kiddos and I have been dancing our butts off with these fun songs and love to learn all of the great dance moves.  Now that I've had our precious little girl - who is 11 days old, I have quite a few extra pounds to lose, so I will be playing this game frequently to get back into shape.  Now that winter is almost here, we won't be able to get outside as much, so inside exercise is essential.  The kids and I can still get some exercise while having a blast with Just Dance 4!

There are so many features to love about this game!  The new battle mode is great because you can challenge your friends to 6 rounds of dance battles.  The Just Sweat It Out Mode is great for me because of the personalized workout programs live feedback and a calorie counter.  This gives me the motivation to work out longer.  Bella really loves the Dancer Card where she can keep track of all of her stats - best scores, favorite songs and more.

This Thanksgiving, don't just sit on the couch and let the tryptophan in the turkey make you sleepy.  Instead challenge your family to a dance battle with Just Dance 4!  It will be so much fun to watch Grandpa and the kids dance the evening away and burn off some of those calories!  Make sure to pick up your copy of Just Dance 4 today!  This game would also make a great holiday gift for just about anyone on your list!

Funky Barn 3D for Nintendo 3DS Review

Bella has been playing a really fun game for her Nintendo 3DS lately called: Funky Barn 3D!  She is 7 years old and this game is recommended for ages 7 and up.  (I actually enjoy playing it too!)  In Funky Barn 3D, you have to keep your farm running.  There are cows, chickens, sheep,and pigs dropped off by a stork.  (Bella really thinks that feature is cool!)  You have to defend your farm animals against pests, natural disasters, and even UFO attacks!  There are fun contraptions to help out with the animals such as the shearing machine, milking machine and the egg collector.  We love the 3DS features such as shaking the trees to make fruit fall to the ground, and even shaking a cow while it's eating a strawberry to make - you guessed it, strawberry milk!

This is a really cool game!  Bella has been playing it on "Easy", which seems to go pretty well for her.  I tried it on "Medium", and it did get a little difficult.  Once I get the hang of it more, it will be a great challenge to play it on medium and even hard.  I'd really recommend Funky Barn 3D for a great summer boredom buster for your kids!

Just Dance Summer Party - Wii Game Review

I am so excited to tell you about the game: Just Dance Summer Party for the Wii! My kids and I LOVE Just Dance and Just Dance 2 and were so thrilled to try out Just Dance Summer Party as well! This is such a fun way to break a sweat with your kids!! There are 20 new songs from the 80's, 90's and today! Bella's favorite song to "Just Dance" to is barbie Girl! My favorite is Mambo No. 5! That brings back memories from my college days! My family and I love to see who's dance moves are better... who has the highest score at the end of the song. I actually have a few high scores.. go me!!

Just Dance Summer Party aslo features duets which allow you to interact with your dance partner with 2-part choreographies! This game also features a "Keep the Party Going Party Mode" that allows lets you and your family to lose yourself in the music! In this mode there is no navigating through menus, no need to stop to select the next song. This games gets two thumbs up from my family!
