My Daily Thrifty Tip for February 6, 2011

#69 Shop end of season sales and clearance racks! In the next few weeks it will be a good time to start shopping the clearance racks at stores for winter stuff that you and your family can wear next year! Retailers are starting to bring out spring merchandise and need to make room by putting any winter things on sale or even clearance. You will need to plan ahead by estimating what size your child will be next winter, but this is a great way to save 50%-90% on clothing! Occasionally I can buy a pair of pants for one of my children for $1 at Walmart! It's so fun to find a good bargain!

I was at Walmart yesterday and bought sweat pants and top for $1 each for the children in next winter sizes. I keep them clothed for little of nothing shopping for the future when they are moving to the next season's clothes. Great idea, thanks for sharing.

This is such good advice! It is always so much fun to pull out new clothes for the season and know that you paid only a fraction of the cost. I really like your blog. Such great tips!
