Next week, Ocotber 1st to be exact, Nickelodeon will be releasing a brand new DVD for all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, entitled: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ultimate Showdown! Sam and my nephews are BIG TMNT fans! He was so excited to receive this DVD to review. He was home sick yesterday and watched this DVD a few times while he was laying in bed. (Poor little guy) He loves to pretend he's a Ninja Turtle! He of course has nunchucks, swords and other ninja weapons like the Turtles. This 2-DVD set contains 12 great episodes! They have epic battles with the Kraang, Baxter Stockman, and The Shredder! I sat down and watched a few episodes with Sam, including "Parasitica" where Michelangelo must fight his brothers in order to save them when the fall under the spell of a parasitic wasp. Mikey is Bella's favorite turtle, so she really liked seeing him save the day! I really enjoy this new TMNT program with my kids. It really takes me back to my childhood when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were SO COOL! Nickelodeon has done a really great job with this new program. I love how the brothers still have the same personalities! If you have a TMNT fan in your life, you'll want to run out and pick up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ultimate Showdown as soon as it hits store shelves on October 1st!
