Our Penguins of Madagascar Family Movie Night! #PenguinsChillOut #PenguinsInsiders #PenguinsMovie

Last weekend we got to have a Penguins of Madagascar Family Movie Night!  My daughter had one of her friends over and we had a great time with activities and delicious ice cream and the kids were thrilled to see the all new movie: Penguins of Madagascar!  We received an awesome movie night kit that contained a fun ice cream maker, ice cream bowls, activity sheets, and some adorable plush penguin characters from this adorable movie!

First we all had a great time doing some activity sheets from the film.  Please feel free to print these activity sheets to do with your own family!  The kids loved the coloring sheets and the spy kit most of all!

After we did all of our activity sheets, the kids were excited to see the movie!  They each got to choose a plush toy to keep for their very own and were thrilled to watch to movie with their penguin characters!

During the movie they made their very own ice cream with the super cool ice cream maker that came in our movie night kit.  We simply added the ingredients and the kids were able to shake the ice cream maker while they were watching the movie.  They had a great time making their own ice cream!  When it was ready I gave each child some ice cream and they happily ate it!  

These kiddos absolutely love our weekly family movie night!  They get to stay up late and eat junk food and get to spend some much needed family time with us.  We love it too!  This movie was especially cute!  I have loved seeing these smart and crazy Penguins in all of the Madagascar movies so was thrilled to see that they now have their own movie!  The kids all love Skipper, Private, Rico and Kowalski!  They even loved the new characters from the North Wind team that we met in this movie!

Night at the Museum 3 Family Movie Night! #Night3MovieNight

Last weekend my family and I had the opportunity to have a Night at the Museum 3 Family Movie Night!  I must confess that I hadn't seen the first two movies in this trilogy, so I was so happy that the Fox Home Entertainment Insiders included a copy of the first movie "Night at the Museum" as well as a copy of the Blu-ray combo pack of the third movie which included a download of the second movie as well!  We were on our way to a super fun Trilogy to watch as a family!  The Fox Home Entertainment Insiders hooked us up with some really fun activities, snacks and toys to try our in collaboration with these films!

We were excited to receive a gift card to Pizza Hut for our Family Movie Night!  My kids love to order pizza and their preferred topping is cheese.  Pizza is always my weakness so of course I enjoyed a few pieces too!  Here are some cute pics of my kids enjoying their Pizza Hut Pizza!

After dinner we had a great time with some super fun activities to get us all geared up for the Night at the Museum trilogy!  You can print all of these fun activities to do as a family too!

After the activities we started with "Night at the Museum" and worked our way through the trilogy.  We were given popcorn and other delicious snacks to enjoy with our movie!  The kids had a great time watching the museum come to life after hours and have asked to watch these movies over and over again since our movie night.  I for one thought all three movies were great!  Ben Stiller is a great actor and I love that he has more than one role in this film.  I think he's hilarious as the caveman.

Our Russell Madness Family Movie Night! #RussellMadness #RussellInsiders

Last Friday we had a super fun family movie night incorporating the adorably fun new movie entitled Russell Madness!  My kids were given three cute plush Russell dogs that they haven't stopped taking to bed with them ever since we received them.  Our movie night was a blast and the Fox Home Entertainment Insiders hooked us up with some wonderful items to make our movie night extra special.  First of all we received a coupon for a free Minute Rice product and I was able to try a delicious new recipe in which my family ALL loved.  Now with three kids that's saying something!  We lead a very busy life and when I can find an easy and nutritious meal that my family will eat, well that's kind of like magic!  I just had to share this great recipe with my readers!  

Super Easy Tuna Casserole

Ingredients:

1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup

2 cups milk

1 cup frozen peas

2 cups Minute White Rice, uncooked

2 cans (6 oz. each) tuna fish, drained and flaked

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

PREHEAT oven to 375 F.  MIX soup, milk and peas in medium saucepan.  Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.  ADD MINUTE White Rice and tuna; mix lightly.  SPOON into a 2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with cheese.  Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.

After dinner we had a great time doing our Russell Madness games and activities that I have included in this post for you all to do with your family as well.  Bella and I had a great time playing Boxed In!  Sam loved the Word Search and Ava loved coloring in the Dot-to-dot of the cute pooch Russell!

After dinner and activities it was time for the movie itself!  Russell Madness begins with a puppy that just steals your heart!  He can't find a family of his own and they kids found it hilarious when Russell pees on a child who picks him up trying to pick out a pet.  Poor Russell isn't picked again!  After running away from the pet store Russell meets a family trying to revive a wrestling arena.  With the adorable coach, "Hunk" - this cute monkey that you see pictured on the cover, Russell becomes a famous wrestler.  This movie is just so cute.  I love animals - especially dogs and monkeys so this was just such a great one for me to watch personally.  The kids loved it and have watched it numerous times since our actual family movie night!
