My daughter is about to turn 7 and enter the first grade. I have found a great magazine and set of books for her to read:

Discovery Girls Magazine is written for girls ages 8-12. This magazines features real girls dealing with real life situations! You will not find celebrities on the cover but real girls! After looking through this magazine with Bella, I think it will be a great source of information for her while she is growing up! I want her to know that she can come to me with ANYTHING, but I also know that you don't always want to talk to your mother about certain things.
Discovery Girls Magazine includes fun age-appropriate articles, quizzes and other tools to help our young daughters thrive. The
Fab Girls Book Set is a great compilation of what do I do when... question and answer type letters. It was fun to read these with Bella and giggle over some of the funny questions, like "What do I do when I sit in chocolate at lunch?" The answer the book gave was to laugh it off and tie a sweatshirt around your waist if you have one. The books in this
