Mommy's Bliss: Sweet Slumber Review

I am the proud momma of three kids and our most recent addition, Ava Jewel is now three months old.  Having a new baby in the house is both fun and tiring for me.  Waking up for those late night feedings sure can take it's toll on her daddy and I, so we were excited to try three Sweet Slumber products from Mommy's Bliss.  With kids and babies, I think routine is key!  We have our bedtime routine down pat.  The kids know what to expect so that there is no whining or protesting at bedtime.  Well things work differently with a baby.  At first it's tough to get in a routine since they sleep so much in the begining.  Well Ava is now starting to get into a pretty good routine at night.  We first start with bath time.   She loves her bath and grins up at me as soon as I start undressing her because she knows that it's almost time for her bath.  I started using the Sweet Slumber 3-in-1 Baby Wash on Ava and we both love the scent!  It is truly a soothing scent that signals relaxation - for me and Ava!

After her bath, I moisturize her delicate skin with the Mommy's Bliss Sweet Slumber Massage Cream.  It smells wonderful just like the 3-in-1 Baby Wash.  Babies need lotion/cream because their skin looses moisture faster than ours does.  The process of me applying the Sweet Slumber Massage Cream to her body is also soothing to Ava and helps her to relax and get ready for bed.  I was a little concerned that these products would irritate her extremely sensitive skin - but they don't!  She hasn't had any reactions at all since using the Sweet Slumber products.  The Sweet Slumber products contain extracts of lavender, chamomile and ylang ylang that are historically associated with relaxation and sleep.  (Sleep that momma and baby desperately need!)

Finally I spray Ava's bedding and pajamas with the Mommy's Bliss Sweet Slumber Mist!  All three products make for a wonderful and relaxing scent for Ava.  She is still swaddled up at night, so I spray her swaddle blanket with the Sweet Slumber Mist as well.  I have honestly noticed that Ava sleeps more peacefully and longer when I use these products at bedtime.  I would highly recommend these products to all parents that would like to get more rest at night!  Combining the Mommy's Bliss Sweet Slumber products with our usual bedtime routine has resulted in a happier mommy and baby!
