Dino Dan: 'Twas A Dinosaur DVD and Dino Dan Augmented Reality App Review and Giveaway! - CLOSED!

My son is fascinated with dinosaurs!  He loves to watch the show Dino Dan which airs on Nick Jr.  He was thrilled to receive the new Dino Dan DVD that was recently released from NCircle Entertainment entitled: Dino Dan: 'Twas a Dinosaur.  This show is very unique in which Dan - a junior paleontologist who knows just about everything about Dinosaurs actually has adventures with the dinosaurs from his imagination!  It's really neat how you see the dinosaurs walking among humans in the show.  This DVD contains 5 fun stories as well as some great extras such as the "Are We There Yet?: World Aventure."  The kids had a great time watching this DVD and your dinosaur enthusiast will too!  Another great thing about owning the DVD is the FREE App that you can download for your iPad or iPhone.  We don't have anything to play it on - we only have android devices, but I was able to try it out with Sam on my sister's iPhone.  After loading the app, you have to point the camera to the back of the Dino Dan: 'Twas a Dinosaur DVD and you will then see a T-Rex come to life and roar.  It's a great app for kids and Sam really enjoyed it!  This is a great holiday DVD.  Sam especially loved Dan's rendition of "The Night Before Christmas" which of course includes a dinosaur spin!

How the app works:

Purchase the “Dino Dan - ‘Twas A Dinosaur” DVD and download the free Dino Dan: Dino Player augmented reality app (available on Apple iTunes).  Once loaded, the app will present a menu displaying the fearsome T-Rex.  Hit the ‘Start’ button to begin seeing through the iOS device’s camera.  Point the camera to the back of the “Dino Dan - ‘Twas A Dinosaur” DVD cover (which also acts as the AR marker) and watch the mighty T-Rex emerge.  Click anywhere on the screen to make the T-Rex roar!
