Always match coupons with store sales.
I try to repurpose things; I wash zip loc bags, I use store bags as garbage bags, etc.
My tip: make your own instead of buying.
Make from scratch when possible!
Only buy what you need, the fridge shouldn't be filled so that you don't know what's in the back of the freezer, and who knows how old.

Plan your meals based around what items are for sale that week. Stockpile when items are at their lowest prices. Match sales with coupons.
We make all of our own cleaning products. I used to buy the cleaning section of the store out!
don't eat out a lot - cooking at home is MUCH cheaper!

If you have little ones, use cloth diapers! The savings are in the thousands and you get cute fluffy bottoms too! :)

Menu! We have saved so much dining out money by following an at home menu.
Buy non-perishable items that you use often when they are on sale (even if you do not need them)..It will save you money in the long run. Don't let not having a lot of space stop you from doing this, look up ways to stockpile in a small place.

I have found that the best way for me to save money for my family of 5 is buy lots of meat when it's on sale, then spread it out throughout the week (or two) into a different meal every day.

For couponers who shop at Walgreen's, always check out in cosmetics. The clerks there are always less hurried than the clerks working the front registers; therefore, they make fewer mistakes with your coupons and sales. I have always found them to be more helpful and they always seem to know more about prices and policies.
