#126 Buy more than one Sunday paper to get more coupons! When I first started couponing I would buy one Sunday paper occasionally and cut out what I thought I'd use and throw away the rest! Since my understanding and usage of coupons has evolved, I buy at least two newspapers a week and save all of my coupons in an accordion style file folder organized by date. If I notice that there are some really great coupons that week, I will buy 2 or more papers, otherwise I will just buy one. Also check with your friends and neighbors. Some people just throw away their coupons (like I used to). I bet if you asked them to save their coupons for you, they'd be happy to!

I took a coupon class a couple weeks back and they mentioned that a good rule of thumb is to buy as many papers as the number of people in your family. I am trying to just do well with my one though! Hopefully I can work my way up:)
