#133 Reuse Ziploc baggies. I have read all of the editions of the "Tightwad Gazette" and Amy Dacyczyn always advocated the reuse and washing of Ziploc baggies. I do this often because those things can be pricey! Of course you should use your best judgment... I don't attempt to reuse baggies that have had meat in them or greasy, runny leftovers. I value my time so I won't be reusing every bag! I will reuse the large gallon size bags when I store a loaf of bread or homemade cookies in them. (Usually for the next batch of homemade bread or cookies.) As with many frugal living tips, this one is also good for our planet! Less Ziploc baggies in the landfill means a happier Mother Earth!
