My Daily Thrifty Tip for March 16, 2011

#107 Buy in bulk and freeze extra. Watch the sales at your local grocery stores and buy meat, chicken, etc. when the price drops. When I see that ground beef is on sale I will by about 8 pounds and divide the meat into one pound portions and freeze it. This way we always have the ground beef we need and I've purchased it at the lowest cost. (I wish we had a deep freezer so that I could do this with more things.)
