Alphabet Kids Review and Giveaway! - CLOSED

We just love reading at our house! My kids and the daycare kiddos all love bringing me a book to read to them. I was happy to review the Alphabet Kids book series! This series of books showcases 6 kids who are from diverse backgrounds and who are great friends! My daughter really likes her new books! She is in Kindergarten and has been learning new words everyday. She really likes learning words in different languages too! These books contain a few new words in other languages. I even learned some new words too!

In Allegra's Apple Tree, Allegra get's upset when she sees her friends wasting paper. She speaks with her teacher about this and the children learn ways to save paper and trees! This is a great book for kids because they all need to learn to conserve our precious natural resources.
In Elena's Birthday Surprise, Elena thinks that everyone has forgotten her birthday! Her friends have secretly planned a very special surprise for her.
In Issac's Zoo, Issac is excited when his grandmother gives him 2 pet goldfish. He then tells his friends about his new pets! They all have different pets and Issac begins to think that his friends have more exciting and fun pets than goldfish. He invites his friends over with their pets and realizes that his pets are special too!
In Oni's Good Hair Day, Allegra hurts Oni's feelings by saying something mean about Oni's hair. This book has a good lesson for children, that everyone is different and you shouldn't tease or pass judgment on other people just by the way they look.
In Umar's Magic Oven, Umar is selected to choose what type of snack all of the children should bring. He chooses bread and all of the children bring in different types of bread. Umar's father teaches the class to make a special bread in a solar oven. This is a great book to teach children about different foods in different cultures!
In Yang's New Dance, Yang's grandfather visits the Alphabet kids and teaches them how to do Tai Chi. The children have fun learning Yang's cultural "dance".
