#32 Send heavy duty plastic utensils in your child's lunch. If you are sending your child something in his or her lunch that he or she needs a utensil for, pack heavy duty plastic utensils. These utensils can make it through the dishwasher without melting. Tell your child to save their utensils so that you can wash and reuse. We all know that these can end up in the trash... that's why I do not recommend sending your silverware!
