ABBA You Can Dance Wii Game Review and 70s Party!

Last weekend I got to host a super fun ABBA You Can Dance 70s party!  I invited a few friends over and made some yummy 70s food and we popped in the ABBA You Can Dance Wii game and fun was had by all!  I made some fondue treats for my pals and we plugged in a disco ball and danced the night away with our kiddos.  Everyone enjoyed the chocolate fondue with strawberries, pretzels and angel food cake the best!  I also provided some yummy adult beverages for those of us who were 21 and older!
 

After we had some time to let our food settle, we were ready to dance!  ABBA You Can Dance for the Wii is so much fun!  I just love being able to dance along with some great music and burn lots of calories while having fun!  The kids weren't too familiar with the music, but the adults had a blast remembering the great music of the 70s.  This game includes a lot of great songs including "Dancing Queen", "Take a Chance on Me", "SOS", "Mama Mia" and more!  Sam just loved watching the disco ball!  (It's hard to capture the lights with my camera)

We all had a great time dancing and then we discovered the karaoke mode for this game.  The words to all of the songs are printed on the bottom of the screen and you can actually sing a duet with a friend!  This was especially fun for "Dancing Queen"!  As you can see, Bella and Sam danced long into the evening!  They just love dancing along and trying to beat each others high score!

Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii Review

I have always wanted to sign up for a Zumba class.  I watched one before and thought it looked like so much fun!  Unfortunately we didn't have the extra money for the class and I don't have very much time to leave the house for a couple of hours a week by myself.  I was so excited to give Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii a try!  I love that with this game I can work out in my own home and can do it when I have free time (after the kids are in bed).  This game comes with a Zumba Fitness Belt for hands free play!  I love the music and it's so fun to dance myself into shape!  It really is a workout, but it's so much fun that it's not something I dread doing, like some other workout videos I have.
