I'm happy to tell you about a really great movie we watched recently entitled 23 Blast.  This is a great movie that is based on a true story about a high school football star that really is as brave as they come.  Sadly he contracts an infection that causes blindness - overnight.  As scary as that is and with the help of his parents, coaches, and friends he goes on to continue to play football.  This is an emotional movie about perseverance and I loved every minute of it!  Pick up your copy of 23 Blast today!  This is a great family friendly film - perfect for life lessons for your kiddos!

Movie Synopsis:

Rated PG-13 (brief drinking of alcohol on school property)  / 1h 42m

As a typical teenager, Travis Freeman (Mark Hapka) is a local hero both on and off the high-school football field in his small Kentucky town, but in 1997, Travis contracts an infection that destroys his optic nerve and renders him blind overnight. With the loving help and concern of his parents, physical therapist, coach and best friend, Travis demonstrates what true bravery is: He continues to compete on the gridiron and helps his team advance to the state finals.
