Internet is strictly for informational use and not to be used for social sites. As well as not giving out personal information.

My daughter isn't allowed to be on social media sites until she's old enough. There's parental controls enabled and we have a set time for it.

My boys are still a little young to be on the internet. My oldest is using a computer at school, so we have links to the pages and sites the school uses and we have those set up under his own log-in on the computer and our log-ins are password protected.
Thanks

Our kids are a little young. We are just starting to introduce our oldest to the internet. I will certainly keep reminding him to NOT give out personal information.

We have software on the computer to avoid some "bad" things and have given them on limited access to things like Netflix kids. We are also usually in the room with them. They are young so no big challenges yet.

I have advised my kids about meeting people on the net that they don't know could be anyone and out to hurt them, the computer they surf on is in the living room so I can watch them no computers allowed in their bedrooms and I have installed parent safe software on the computer to keep them away from harmful sights on the web

When they were little I was always with them and we used kid sites only. As they got older, my son wasn't really interested in it and my daughter just played games. They were always monitored and now they are teens and are still monitored pretty much. My daughter is in college so she uses hers mostly for school and my son looks up how to play songs on his guitar! :)
