Frozen Treats from Unilever - Great For Hot Summer Days!!!

Summer is such a fun time for my family!  We like to enjoy lots of time outside playing in our back yard.  The kids have lots of fun outdoor toys and my husband and I like to grill outside and hang out by the pool.  Well when it gets hot we like to enjoy some frosty treats!  Recently I was given some coupons to try some yummy frozen treats and my family was so excited to go to the grocery store and pick out some new flavors of our favorite brands to try!  I must say that some of the treats went so quickly that I wasn't able to try any!  I guess that says that they were REALLY good!

The first yummy treat that we tried were the Strawberry Fruttare bars!  I have been on a health kick lately and have actually lost 52 pounds since having Ava!  The Fruttare bars are amazing!  They are so delicious and have real bits of fruit in them.  The strawberry flavor is only 60 calories and zero fat!  That's great news for my diet and they taste unbelievable!  They are a great dessert for me and don't undo all of the hard work I've done to lose the weight!  I will certainly be buying these from now on.  They come in lots of yummy flavors including lime, orange, peach & milk, strawberry & milk, mango and more!

We also received a coupon for a Klondike product.  Bella and I agreed on the Reese's flavor!  It was a hard choice since there are so many yummy flavors to choose from including: Heath, Oreo, Dark Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip, Krunch, Rocky Road and the yummy Original!  Klondike Bars are a definite weakness of mine!  I love the combination of the hard chocolate shell and the creamy ice cream center!  These did NOT last long in our house!  I did get one, but that was it.  This is a super yummy treat and the kids have been asking for more Klondike bars!  Next time we are planning on getting the Caramel Pretzel flavor!  That flavor looks super delicious!!!!

Lately when I take the daycare kids outside, they hear the ice cream truck and all beg to stop the truck for some ice cream.  Well that can get expensive!  Instead of letting each of them get something from the ice cream truck, I give them each a Popsicle!  It makes them happy and cools them off and makes me happy since I'm not shelling out $1 per child (Some of the ice cream choices are $3 from our ice cream truck - OUCH!!)  We were able to choose a Popsicle brand item to review and Bella just HAD to have Hello Kitty Popsicles!  This is a new addition to the Popsicle brand!  The Hello Kitty Popsicles have four great flavors: Cherry, Watermelon, Berry and Grape.  They come in fun shapes: star, moon, and triangle to name a few.  All of the kids loved these Popsicles!  Each two pop serving is only 60 calories...  Another great treat for my healthy ways!  Popsicle Brand has so many different varieties including sugar free - you will be sure to find a flavor or two that your family will enjoy!

Bella is a Girl Scout and she and my husband LOVE Thin Mints!  This year we bought 5 boxes!  We did it to help out her troop not to mention their love for them!  The first thing my husband does when he gets a package of Thin Mints is to stick them in the freezer!  He enjoys eating them ice cold, so we knew he'd love eating them in Breyers Blasts!  Girl Scout Cookies® Thin Mints® flavor!  Breyer's Blasts combine their yummy and creamy ice cream with your favorite candies!  It's like going to the ice cream parlor without leaving home!  There are so many delicious flavors to choose from including: Snickers Bar, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, M & M's and so many more!  Travis and Bella were in heaven with their Breyers Blasts!  Girl Scout Cookies® Thin Mints® flavor!  I went to the freezer to get myself a scoop one day and it was all gone!  I guess next time I will have to try another flavor so I may get a chance of trying some myself!

We were also happy to try Good Humor Birthday Cake bars!  I actually didn't get to try these either.  Since there were only 6 in a box, they went very quickly in our house and I was told by my kids that they are TOTALLY YUMMY!  Good Humor Bithday Cake bars put a new twist on the classic ice cream bar by adding vanilla cake flavored ice cream surrounded by light vanilla ice cream and coated with cake crunch.  The kids said that they taste better than birthday cake!  Now that's saying something!

In my opinion, I have saved the best for last!  We were also given the opportunity to try a Magnum product.  These look so delectable and I have been wanting to try them for a long time!  Sam picked out the Magnum Mini Gold?! ice cream bars and I made sure I got one of these to try!  These heavenly ice cream bars feature silky vanilla bean ice cream swirled with sea salt caramel and dipped in a golden coating made with Belgian milk chocolate!  I thought they were wonderful!  The outer shell is crunchy goodness and the inside is creamy!  The combination is fantastic!  The mini bars are a nice small treat for the kids and me!
