The Gruffalo's Child Book and DVD Review and Giveaway! (CLOSED)

A while back my kids and I had the privilege to review "The Gruffalo" on DVD and it has been one of their favorites ever since!  When I heard that NCircle Entertainment was coming out with the next installment of the story - The Gruffalo's Child, I knew my children would love it and I was right!  The Gruffalo's Child is about the Gruffalo telling his child a story about "The Big Bad Mouse".  This story is a warning not to go in the woods alone.  He describes "The Big Bad Mouse" as a creature possessing the qualities of a snake, fox, and an owl.  The Gruffalo's child sneaks into the woods one night and happens upon all of these creatures and asks about "The Big Bad Mouse".  This story is told very well and keeps the attention of kids!  We also received the book and the kids have asked to read it over and over again.  This story is such a treasure and would make a great addition to your DVD and book collection!
The Gruffalo's Child is the delightful sequel to the Academy Award-nominated short, The Gruffalo, based on the beloved children’s book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. This story, narrated by an all-star cast, is sure to be a family favorite!

In The Gruffalo's Child, the Gruffalo tells his child an extraordinary story of “The Big Bad Mouse,” warning her never to go in the woods alone because there is a terrible creature lurking there.  Waiting until her father falls asleep, the Gruffalo’s Child sneaks out into the deep dark woods to see The Big Bad Mouse for herself.  Along the way she runs into a snake, an owl, and a fox and discovers that while they have similar features to The Big Bad Mouse, they are, in fact, not him.  Just as she is about to give up her search, she stumbles upon a tiny mouse. Cautious of her, the mouse listens to what the Gruffalo’s Child is looking for, and then decides to reveal his big bad secret!
