Real Steel Movie Review!

Today, January 24th, Real Steel is available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD!  My family and I received a copy of this action packed movie to review and we all enjoyed it.  This would make a great father - son movie, however Bella and I liked it too.  In this movie Charlie played by Hugh Jackman, is a retired boxer and finds himself in the Robot Boxing industry - something that is all the rage in the future.  He takes care of his son Max, whom he has lost touch with and they begin to bond over fixing up a sparring robot that they find in the garbage.  Sam and Bella's favorite part of the movie is where Max, the young boy teaches the robot to dance.  This is a very heartwarming film and would appeal to just about anyone.  We also loved the special features included in this Blu-ray/DVD combo pack!  We loved to watch the making of the robots and of course the bloopers from the movie!  I would highly recommend watching this movie!  It's a great one for family movie night!

Summary:
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, "Real Steel" stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kentonm, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
