First we tried the Tag Reader with the Interactive World Map. I was amazed by the ability of this small Tag Reader to read words and make sounds when placed on words and pictures. I love that the kids are learning geography while they play. The other moms thought that this was a great product as well! We also received a Learn to Read Phonics Book Set for the Tag Reader and I think that this is a wonderful tool for kids to use when learning to read! Bella is doing great in school with her reading and is an advanced reader, however she loved to use the Tag Reading System as well! It is so fun to see the kids read with their Tag Reader! Sam thinks it's the coolest thing in the world that he can "read" to himself with his Tag Reader! This product is amazing and is highly approved by this mommy and all of the other mom's at the party!!!

After we tried out the amazing Tag Reading System, we all took turns playing with the LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet. Our LeapPad was preloaded with some apps and of course you can purchase more! Currently there are over 100 games and apps available for the LeapPad Explorer! This toy is amazing and I must say durable! It would have to be since the recommended age for this toy is 4-9 years. (Ours has been dropped twice so far - that I know of) It comes with a built in camera and video recorder, which the kids had a lot of fun playing with! Kids can use their fingers or the included stylus on this touch screen device!
Our LeapPad Explorer is now Sam's since Bella already has a Nintendo DS. I figured that it was only fair. Now they both have a game system to play with, which is really great for long trips in the car! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this product! It is so fun to play with! I got a chance to try it out after the kids were in bed and I tried the Roly Poly Picnic game. It was really fun because it is motion based and you can roll the Roly Poly around through mazes and do spelling challenges! Like I said, it's really fun to play, but my favorite part is that my son is learning his letters, numbers, you name it, when he plays with his LeapPad Explorer! Bella has her DS which is fun too, but there really aren't a whole lot of learning games to buy for the DS. That's why I love the LeapPad so much! Don't worry, Bella gets to play the LeapPad Explorer too! My kids do share - occasionally!
The other moms were just as impressed as I was with the LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet! It reminded us of the many tablets out now that our kids want to take from us! Now with the LeapPad Explorer, your kids can have a tablet just like mom & dad's! This would make an awesome Christmas gift for your kids this year! Learning and fun go hand in hand with LeapFrog!
