#99 When washing dishes by hand don't leave the water on for rinsing. Instead fill one basin with soapy water for washing and one basin with rinse water. This can save quite a bit of water. I have been letting my daughter help me with the dishes and when she rinses, the water is on for a very long time. When the sink is full of clean water for her to rinse, this makes the job much quicker and saves us money on our water bill!
