Don't fall back on credit cards and try to budget in savings that can be used for emergencies.
Have you ever heard of a business that did not have a budget for income and spending? If businesses did not have a budget they wouldn't be in business long! Households need to run on a budget as well. Think of yourself as the CFO of your family finances. Do what you can to bring that bottom line back in the black!
