#31 Don't buy single serve containers, buy the big jar and save money! I know I've talked about packing my daughters lunch before. Packing your lunch can be a real money saver, but if you aren't careful, that cafeteria lunch may actually be cheaper! Instead of buying the single serve containers of applesauce and fruit, buy the large jar and send your child a serving in a reusable plastic container. The unit cost is significantly lower when you take away some of the convenience.
