Last week my family and I had a "The Book of Life" Family Movie Night!  It was so much fun and this was an excellent movie!  My kids have watched it numerous times and their favorite character is the adorable pig - Chuy.  They have asked me multiple times if they could have a little piglet - um no!  Before the movie the kids had a great time writing their New Year's Resolutions on a "The Book of Life" activity sheet and of course loved the masks that we were given in our party pack!

As you can see Bella is a very crafty girl and loves to save money - like her mama!  She loved coming up with things she wanted to do in 2015!

Check out these goofballs trying on their "The Book of Life" masks.  Ava aka Maria, wouldn't hold still long enough for a good picture!

This movie was just stunning!!!  We loved the love story of Manola and Maria and how he died to be with his true love - no, don't worry it has a happy ending!  This movie is based on the Latin holiday "Day of the Dead" where deceased loved ones are celebrated.  We thought this movie was visually stunning and truly loved the story line.  It's a movie that really makes you root for the characters.

I love having family movie night with my kids.  They love it too!  The kids love to have fun snacks and I don't have to hear any arguing for 2 hours or so!  That's priceless for this mommy!  They love snuggling on the floor together and enjoying some togetherness time!  Make it a family movie night at your house with The Book of Life!  Your family will love it!  It really isn't just for the kids!  My husband and I loved it as well!

I saw this in Walmart the other day and wondered if it was going to be a good movie. I love this review and will definitely be getting it now.
